VEGAN FLAVA

On Friday December 14th I joined the Global Climate Strike that took place in many cities around the globe during the last day of the COP24 climate conference in Katowice Poland. In Stockholm we stood outside the Swedish parliament.

The strike was initiated by the Swedish, 15 years old climate activist Greta Thunberg. See her call for the strike in the short video.

Many critics of her campaing School Strike for the Climate, (on Fridays) say that children should stay in school. I think that is very offensive and follows the belief that information and teachings is only transmitted from adults to children. But with the climate crisis, it is evident that adults have lost a sound approach to so many things. As children we know the difference between right and wrong but on our way to adulthood we are taught by our culture to  do it all wrong. It is when ugly creations of adults are handed to children they get confused. It will be  difficult to keep peace and to survive on a ruined Earth. We need to listen to the children, in parliaments, in schools and in our homes.
